When you take the front seat, you’ll find an 8-inch driver information display, where many of the vehicle’s functions such as navigation and entertainment are consolidated in one place, making it easier to adjust them while maintaining your focus on the traffic ahead. All passengers will fit comfortably in the Traverse, as it has plentiful seating and leg room for seven or eight guests with the driver.

The Traverse has enough area to carry all of the passengers you need, but keeping them safe is the most important task at hand. Thankfully, the Traverse is well-prepared to take you and your loved ones wherever the trip calls you and return you home safe and sound. The safety amenities are centralized in Chevrolet’s Chevy Safety Assist suite. The Safety Assist system features front pedestrian braking and emergency braking, both of which detect potential hazards on the road automatically.
Chevy Safety Assist also prevents accidents altogether. The lane-keeping assist keeps drivers well within their lane and keeps them from drifting and endangering other cars, which is especially useful on long drives on the highway. The following distance indicator encourages drivers to leave a good deal of space between them and the vehicle in front of them in order to provide time to react to unanticipated events. Furthermore, a rear pedestrian alert reduces the risk of parking lot accidents.
3. Plentiful Customizable Options
Chevrolet recognizes that no two drivers are the same, which is why there are six trim levels of the Traverse to choose from. The Traverse LS has enough seating to fit eight passengers and includes six USB ports to let everyone stay connected. The LT Cloth model features a chrome-accented grille, rear cross-traffic alerts, a steering wheel wrapped in leather, and breathable cloth seats. The Traverse High Country features equipment to pull a trailer and a stylish jet-black interior.
